update on previous post....worried to death re needing help!

well been back up the yard and my boy is sound on front (one with blood around clench) but I think he's dipping on the back, so tomorrow I'll check him again and get farrier back out if neccessary...I think I may just be looking for something because I 'm so worried, well I hope thats all it is

Get him to take the shoes off and tub him if you can in cold water. 1) is there any heat in his feet
2) I know these shoes are expensive but have you thought about plastic shoes that are glued on.

there is no heat in either feet and pulses are not up either, although tomorrow it could be a different story, god I hope not


I have talked about plastic shoes with my farrier and they cost about £300 squids and he cannot guarantee how long they would stay on, he will be having shoes removed and a complete foot rest for 6 months, but I 'm hoping to keep shoes on till October so the ground will be a bit kinder for him. Also looking to buy hoof boots for riding
