So today i went down and checked delicia all over, no sore points, teeth/gums and tongue fine, lips fine, chin groove fine, basically nothing amiss. I tacked her up, watching for any warning signs of pain or discomfort, nothing.

I got on and warmed her up, everything a-okay, went into my first canter, her ears pricked forward and she squealed and started doing tempi changes lol.

I brought her back to the trot and worked on suppleness into the canter, she went disunited once and i followed Mirthas (sp?) advice to make her maintain the canter as she will sort herself out rather then bring her back to trot then up into canter again. Two strides into being disunited she corrected herself. Apart from being very up (dee's canter is very uphil) there was nothing wrong with it exceptbeing a little over-enthusiastic. So when she changed legs i just changed direction and maintained the canter. We had one stop and reverse but i threw my reins at her and she relaxed again through her jaw and went on lovely. After this she was a delight and went lovely.

Over the moon with her but i will watch this space. lol
