Yesterday I posted about how bad I felt for deciding to return Chad to his owner.
Today I am a happy bunny
Chads owner was a bit shocked at my decision at first but we had a long chat last night and she said she totally understood why I wanted to return him. She also heaped the praise on me, thanking me for taking him on in the first place when I didnt need to (as a favour to her) and said what a wonderful job I had done with Ellie since I have had her. She also said that I go over and above what is expected of a loaner as I let her come down to see the horses and ride whenever she likes. That to me was just how I thought it should be, she entrusted me with her horses, the least I could do was let her come and ride a couple of times a month.
Anyway, so alls well that ends well.
And, she is selling Ellie to me for a pound!!!!!! She thinks I will worry that she would want Ellie back at some point, so is basically giving her to me to say thank you for taking such good care of her.
*SQUEALS IN EXCITEMENT!!!*
Chad is going in a couple of weeks and Daisy comes home then. I will then have two of my own horses grazing in the paddock.
How lucky am I !!!
