I know this isn't really a CR post but seeing as I only ever used to post on here I thought it would be ok. I haven't posted in ages and really enjoy reading people's reports even if I don't reply. It seems a lot of people have left, which is a shame, although I have a legitimate excuse - I no longer compete!
As I said in a previous post, I'm now at vet school (going into year 3... scary!!!), and we made the difficult decision in the Spring to sell Ruby. It felt like we were going nowhere and I was getting very frustrated at my lack of time - she was the sort of horse that needed consistency and I was about as inconsistent as possible! So she was advertised at Easter and sold within a week to be a schoolmistress for a girl who has never evented before. We miss her lots and she taught me so much, she was a lovely lovely horse.
As I'm sure I also mentioned in a previous post, we decided Tam needed a job since she was semi-retired due to tendon sheath damage (which got fixed but we were told not to event her again,) and that job is being a Mummy! We put her in foal last Summer to a stallion called Primitive Faerie Tale(by AI, with the vet letting me practise scanning etc which was cool!) And, now we have a cute bundle of fun in our fields which is just fab. She was born 2 weeks early (8th June to be precise) but was very strong and cheeky so everything went as smoothly as possible - she was born in our fields which was lovely
So we have a chestnut filly, born bright orange and very mischievous, and she is called Bounce
Few hours old:
Few weeks old:
Few months old, and a lot less orange. We think she is going to be a liver chestnut and is turning into a gorgeous colour. We were trying to compare my shade of chestnut with hers in this picture

I've also been breaking in a homebred 5yo we have called Scribble who is only 13.2hh, and we are hoping she will be off to a pony club home on loan this winter, so she has been keeping me busy, along with studying for what feels like a trillion exams, and my 8 weeks of placement I have to do in the holidays! Anyway, hope the baby pics are ok and sorry I won't be doing any reports in the near future!
