Went down the yard last night to see Ellie's leg. It was quite a small scrape but had obvioulsy bled loads as there was dried blood everywhere!! It was slightly swollen and was a bit hot so i hosed it off. She wasn't lame on it but wouldn't put any weight on it when standing tied up.
Went back down there this morning and her leg is like a tree trunk!!! Graze had been weeping in the night so hosed it off again. Checked to see if she was lame and she is still sound luckily. I turned her out still in the hope she may walk the swelling off and will check and cold hose again tonight.
So looks like i am going to have to put the person coming to see her off as i cant see it getting better by tomorrow
This horse has now been up for sale for 7 months and has managed to ruin her chances of finding a nice home about 6 times!!!
