Well the vet came out this morning to check on Senza's leg for me.
It was a little bit puffy but nothing liek it was last week and no heat. Vet poked and prodded and done vet stuff and Senza didn't seem bothered by anything she done.
She then asked me to trot her up and down and she was sound so vet did a flexion test and she was still sound (thank god).
Vet said Senza was absolutly fine and she reckons she may have had infection in the joint when she was younger to cause the puffiness when she stays in.
She also said to bandage her at night and do light work for the next 10 days just to make sure but she is pretty certain there is nothing going on there because it has been like it for a few weeks and if it was tendons we would of seen some kind of reaction by now.
I asked her about scanning it and she said she would be happy to for peace of mind but she is certain that it would show nothing and i would have to take Senza up to the vets so not worth it unless there are any changes or she takes a lame step.
She also had a look at Senza's back leg as the little madam decided to rip it to shreds on Saturday so now that is swollen too but said that i was doing everything right with that as well and if it gets worse then she will leave some antibiotics on stand by for me. But again the swelling has gone down already and she is not lame so will just carry on hosing and putting anticeptic cream on it.
So there you go, a lot of worry for nothing but glad i checked as its put my mind at rest.
