Hopefully, the above link will work! You may remember that I posted last year about a nice little horse we bought to sj who was, we thought, sour and very backward. I then updated to say that I thought he was making a bit of progress. After more galloping, forward hacking on a long way and generally having a relaxed time, along with a new saddle, he has hopefully turned a corner! He's has a couple of lessons both flat and with jumps he has done a couple of small competitions, starting him like a baby horse. The photo is of an arena event a couple of weeks ago but this weekend he has been second in a WH (only 80cm) with a lovely clear, 2nd in a ridden class against proper professionals and serious showing people and also qualified for Blair style jumping yesterday! He is a really sweet horse and is generally much happier than he was, he'll stand at the lorry and even stand in the stable by himself - still windsucking though!
Best thing about it is that he is going forward! Fingers crossed that we really have turned a corner and its the start of better things. Happy days!!
