Just thought I should let you know, Teal has been on antibiotics for 10 days now, and took him down to the vets for a listen today, vet is really pleased with how he is looking, had a listen to his lungs and said there was still one area that sounded bad but was loads better. She thinks that this area will either gradually improve, or it is scarring left over from the infection, or an abscess. So the plan is to give him 2 weeks off antibiotics and if he stays the same or gets better then great, but if he starts coughing again then we have to start think about an abscess....
So good news that he is so much brighter, he hasn't coughed for over a week now and is generally a happier person
