So pleased with how my girl is going lately, feeling suddenly much more mature. Have spent the last few months working on keeping her engaged and calm as being an ex showjumper she tended to get very excitable and tense, never really allowing me to ride her.

The last few weeks she has been a star, really chilled out and feeling much more mature. We have started playing more with lateral work and a higher outline now she is stronger.

Feeling ready to go out and start testing the water away from home now that shes trusting me.

Proud owner here who just wanted to gush about her pony :D Going to take her out and see how we get on with a W&T test if anyone can recommend a nice quiet venue in the North West? :)

Looking good!! Bright blue looks good!!

Crow wood in Burnley is a nice venue, they do lots of dressage there now. Church Farm also is fairly quiet in the winter, they do unaffiliated... erm, there is also Myerscough which I find quite spacious so never feels that busy... oh, JWD in chorley is q quiet venue as well, that might be nice for a first time out, where are you abouts? x

SpookyPony- Shes 17.3 so a bit of a giant :p

PS- Thank you, feeling much easier to bring her together now which in turn helps with keeping her focused as I know she would much rather be spooking at things :D

Hayleyshep- thank you, I had forgotten about Church Farm but that could be ideal. I think if I take her to Myerscough I will die, she hates indoor schools and I find theres is particularly spooky. Never been to Crow Wood will have to go and have a look, thank you :) Im in Warrington so fairly easy to travel from

Ah if you aren't a fan of indoors then, maybe avoid crow wood, they have a new indoor where they usually do their tests, its lovely, but its like one of these balloon indoors, if you get me! Might find it quite spooky! :)

Thanks for the tip Dressagelove :D Shes getting used to indoors but I would rather take her somewhere that wont automatically make her tense first time out and that means outdoor sadly :(
