I had a follow up phone call from the Dog Warden yesterday to see if I was happy with the service they provided.
I asked what had happened to the dog and she said that the owners had called them the next day and were able to come and pick her up. Apparently, they were over the moon. They had lost her earlier on the day I found her.
I really hope they get her microchipped and put a name badge on her collar. She was such a lovely, well behaved girl, I am so glad she has gone home.
