The case has been closed, and blamed on natural causes, like barney the pony in Wales a few weeks ago, however owners are very adamant his injuries were not that of animal interference and are now taking this public.

The vet who did the post mortem disposed of the body without the owners consent (he was a vet who worked for the RSPCA) and the owners wanted a second opinion on the pony by a private vet!!

We have been contacted by 2 people from different organisations, 1 a lady from the USA, who has done over 130 horse mutilation cases, and 90% of these cases, the us law enforcement deemed natural causes, but she came along and in every single case she proved the police and vets wrong, and it was found tha the animal had died because of human mutilation!!!

The other a man from England who has dealt with many cases as well, and he too has said in his experience, he has found some "vets" are actually in on the whole thing, it's a massive conspiracy.

The owners contacted the police today to ask for copies of the photos they took at the scene of the crime, in which they refused. She then said was going to take them to court in that case as she is legally allowed these photos, and now she will be receiving them after paying a £10 release fee.

This case I have no doubt is not natural causes like these corrupt police and RSPCA are trying to deem, they're trying to stop a national panic, but these ponies, barney included need justice, not to be swept under the carpet and told they died and then animals ate them, I'm sorry but yes we know wildlife will eat away at a dead body, but cmon Clean cuts, half his oenis cut in a straight line, I'm still not convinced, there is something going on we don't know about !

And isn't it a bit funny how sammy was the only stallion she owned out of 12horses in the same field..AND he was killed on Friday 13th,,,,people need to open their eyes, and realised that the police and RSPCA are not whoi we think!

Troyseph, did you read your comments before posting !

I hope the owners gain all the information they rightfully need. I very much doubt the RSPCA disposed of the body of the poor pony without the owners consent and without billing the owners.

Perhaps you should use the Freedom Of Information Act to gain further information from both the RSPCA and the Police.

I don't think the RSPCA or Police need to worry about panicking the public you are doing a perfectly good job yourself.

Grief does many things and one thing it does is to make people look for something or someone to blame for their loss

The vet who did the post mortem disposed of the body without the owners consent (he was a vet who worked for the RSPCA) and the owners wanted a second opinion on the pony by a private vet!! Unclear from this what instructions were given initially and whether the 'second opinion' was required when the first didn't meet with their view of events

We have been contacted by 2 people from different organisations, 1 a lady from the USA, who has done over 130 horse mutilation cases, and 90% of these cases, the us law enforcement deemed natural causes, but she came along and in every single case she proved the police and vets wrong, and it was found tha the animal had died because of human mutilation!!!Hmmm, and was this lady 'paid' to give her opinion by any chance - call me cynical!

The other a man from England who has dealt with many cases as well, and he too has said in his experience, he has found some "vets" are actually in on the whole thing, it's a massive conspiracy.Oh please, this conspiracy theory has now gone too far!!

This case I have no doubt is not natural causes like these corrupt police and RSPCA are trying to deem?????, they're trying to stop a national panic?????,but these ponies, barney included need justice, not to be swept under the carpet and told they died and then animals ate them, I'm sorry but yes we know wildlife will eat away at a dead body, but cmon Clean cuts, half his oenis cut in a straight line, I'm still not convinced, there is something going on we don't know about !people were once convinced the world was flat! I had the misfortune to have to pick up a body once (human) who have leapt off a cliff, the foot looked like it had been amputated with a clean cut!

And isn't it a bit funny how sammy was the only stallion she owned out of 12horses in the same field..AND he was killed on Friday 13thSo it was a Friday 13th thing then?,,,,people need to open their eyes, and realised that the police and RSPCA are not whoi we think!Who's trying to 'spread panic' now?

Oh come on please, isn't this a little bit out of hand :rolleyes:Losing your horse through it dying in a field and being half-eaten or deliberately killed and mutilated must be bl**dy awful and I only hope it never happens to me or anyone I know but this is a bit OTT isn't it, what do the police, RSPCA or Vets stand to gain by not saying it was human mutilation if it was? Wouldn't they want the publics help to stop the crimes? If they don't want to spread panic why do they release ANY details of crime, allow programmes like 'Crimewatch', 'Night Cops', etc, etc?

I think maybe we have someone who is understandably grieving for their lost pony and want to have a reason for it, or maybe I'm just plain wrong and what we see above is level headed and rational???!!!

Oh noes its a conspiracy! *dons foil hat*

ha ha ha!!

If the RSPCA, Police and Vets are not who we think they are... then who are they...?!

maybe they're like the royal family- large green sea slugs in human skins.... or like my friend's parents; stickle bricks in a human overall?!

(the last one was childhood nightmare she had that worried her for years!)

Why do they think its not natural causes? Afte ra post mortem on animals there is not normally enough left of a body to give to someone for a secnod opinion..

I don't think its a conspiracy but i also don't think there are many wild animals in Britain could take down and kill a horse. Panic won't help, but being wary might.

Yep, true, but it doesn't say it was 'taken down' by a predator, just gnawed at, birds, badgers, foxes, rats, plenty that'd have a go at a dead animal!!

No, but without seeing the results of the pm is it not more than possible the horse died of natural causes and was then scavenged?

FWIW I was involved in a case a few years ago when a 'prize' stallion was found dead. Owner was convinved he had been poisoned. PM showed he had died of natural causes.

Horses die all the time, even seemingly healthy horses drop down suddenly. When rigor mortice takes place all the mucles contract so the penis will extend... the parts of the horse that were removed were the most nutricious (sp?) and readily available to a passing scavenger- likely foxes, crows would take the eyes, hedgehogs are known to scavenge meat off carcasses...

I have seen big cats at home, and yes they have the capability to take down a horse but it's too much effort- especially when pheasants, partridge and deer and sheep are smaller and put up less of a fight. a cat attack would be easy to spot due to the large scratch marks down the back and bite marks to the neck.

Yeah, i suppose it is, just seems strange that such a young horse would drop dead and have odd injuries so soon after the same thing happened to another, with another alleged case very close after that.

With trauma (potentially being caught and handled roughly by strangers, unregulated dose of sedative/roughly twitched, then torture) could come a seizure/heart attack or something that resulted in what may look to be natural cause of death via pm. Maybe Im thinking too deeply lol, tendency to over analyse.

Thing is we are all aware and looking for strange Sh** when it happens once and we get just a little bit paranoid so dismiss the most likely answer.

In a thread in Latest News, EstherYoung had one theory:

One thing that struck me is that it has been prime weather for atypical myopathy over the last few weeks: lots of rain/risk of flooding which has then receded. AM is more likely to affect young horses who live out, and it can make horses go from extremely healthy to dead in a matter of hours. I seem to remember that the South West has had a spate of AM cases over the last few winters.

The idea that vets are in on a conspiracy to cover up satanic horse mutilation is absolutely lulu.

I found my mare with what looked suspiciously like an "interference" injury to her girlie bits. The vet took one look and said, don't worry, she's just been bitten by another horse. And yep, she was right and it was very obvious then. Many of us know of cases where the horse just dropped dead, or died in the night. Wild animals can do a tremendous amount of damage. A badger's bite can crush a man's hand with no effort at all. Their claws can easily rip the body open. Animals (and birds) instinctively go for the most nutritious and most accessible parts. The eyes are generally one of the first bits to be targetted. Do we not give pig's ears to dogs to chew on? Its horrible but genuine cases of animals being assaulted by weirdos and perverts are incredibly rare.

That could be a very sensible answer.

Am I right in thinking in one of these cases people were claiming it was a case of neglect too with the owners claiming an attack to cover up that.

When you lose an animal for no obvious reason you want to be able to blame somebody, having things in the media about any attack is good for awareness but it does then breed paranoia and some people will think this is what happened to theirs no matter what.

Either way it's sad for the ponies and the owners but I am not going to panic just yet, will just keep my eyes and ears open.

This was on a friend's FB page - I have no idea if it's right or wrong, because it's the first I've heard of it, I just thought it probably warranted a mention. The police do ordinarily have animal welfare at the botton of their list, so that echoes with me. I also know there are sick cases that are dealt with that never get into the public domain. Does this ring any bells with anyone, or is it just a ramble? I'm only posting in case it does jog someone's memory indicating perhaps there is some truth in it.

**Just read in paper about the sick bastards that totured that poor Innocent horse by gouging his eye out ripping his teeth out and mutilating his private parts....Please be aware of a nut case who lived in Margate in the 90's The Police had 5 photo Albums full of photos of mutilated horses and horses totured to death...When I was in the animal rights movement locally we set up a night time vigilante where 3-5 of us sat all night in a selected horses fields and lay in wait for him to strike..he did and 5 of our members captured him. He went to prison for just 18 months..was released in 9 and moved away. There was a spate of horse mutilation in Hertfordshire some years ago and we let the locals know that it most probably was him as he lived near there...PLEASE SHARE THIS HIS NAME IS T*** R*** he lived in Hertford rd Margate Kent..His father starved 12 puppies to death. He is a short slim guy and may have changed his name. He also owned his own pony called Shammie who was taken to a secret location when he was convicted....This latest case reeks of him..please share as he must be stopped**

Hang on a second vor, was the lady from the USA paid? By who? The owners? Because she actually contacted me first on my mobile and stated who she was...and said shed got my number from someone posting it on a radio Cornwall facebook page, same as the guy in England he also contacted me via radio Cornwall Facebook page!

Do you not find it a bit funny that 3 horses, all stallions have had pretty similar injuries in the last 3weeks? And erik in stithians was a proven mutilation case????? Eriks mutilation happened on one of the biggest satanic days in their calendar _ st winebalds day, and now sammi was Friday the 13th, another massive date in their calendar?!

Everybody has their own views, but sometimes it really narks me when people think the police are perfect etc, the police have been proved wrong a million times, and I believe they are much more corrupt than your average Joe.!

St Winebald's day is in December 18th.

Here's some mythbusting on the so-called Pagan calendar:

http://www.witchvox.com/va/dt_article.html?a=cabc&id=4736

In America's Best Kept Secret there is a "Satanic Ritual Calendar" which many other disseminators of Satanic Ritual Abuse myths have incorporated into their reference materials. I will discuss this calendar in a moment. For now let me point out that if the sacrificial events listed on this calendar are correct, then each Devil-worshipping group requires between four and eight human sacrifices every year. Let's do some simple math here: If this is true and two million children are being sacrificed to the Devil every year, there must be between 250,000 and 500,000 Devil-worshipping groups practising in the US today. If we assume that there are an average of 13 members to each of these groups, then there are between 5 and 6.5 million practising Devil worshippers in the US alone. This would mean that there are almost as many Devil Worshippers as there are Jews in the United States.(4)

Erik's case is weird - only because teeth had been removed. But I see no reason why vets would lie and say that the other two died of natural causes and were "ripped" post-mortem by wild animals. You could get yourself into a bit of legal trouble by alleging that.

Police and vet cover up? How dramatic! I think before a few peopole starts over reacting, they need to get the facts, I very much doubt the authorities are lying about how the poor pony died and the grief that the owners are feeling? I can't imagine it, but I do think that the mass panic needs to be nipped in the bud, it is not doing anyone any good by spreading wild rumours!!

Just an aside, Pirate FM (the local radio station) has made an appeal on any information leading to the conviction of Eric (the horse from Stitians) and on the radio this morning, there was an amount of £5,000 raised from private donations and also the radio station itself, am sure the amount has gone up since. What a fantastic gesture, can we concentrate on this rather than the wild conspiriacy theories.

Sorry OP but I don't think your comments are either helpful or sensitive, especially to those very unfortunate people who've lost horses recently (or in the past) because of an alleged "crime", and who might well be reading this forum.

I do not think this forum is the place to publicly allege that all police are corrupt and/or there is a massive RSPCA-cum-vets conspiracy.

Personally I think it is insensitive, inaccurate, and TBH, senseless. I don't know what you are trying to achieve?

I really don't know what to make of it all, but I just find the teeth removal a bit beyond animals...that seems more trophy to me, tho initially i was alarmed but sceptical..I know it is said that one of the owners had not seen one of the horses when she went to check them...:)eek::eek::eek:) yet left & came back later...also didn't one of them not check them for something like over 18 hours? That made me sad and shocked..tho there are many who don't check theirs even once a day, and merrily get away with it...where as I prefer to see mine between 3 or 4 times a day,you know...just in case..thats just me, but I struggle with the not seeing the pony bit & just assuming all was ok..the cat theory did cross my mind, as we spotted Lynx on our farm on several occasions & I think one of the animals was on/near Bodmin?? so yes it is more than possible..then hearing that excuse for a man who was actually charged...now THAT is what worries me.People like him.I remember while I was growing up there were a lot of slashing incidents where horses were found with bottles/glass inserted and I have had attempts to steal mine (disturbed by a vicar twice one night) & found definite plaits and one of mine had a mark clipped onto him the same night...mine were thankfully all ok.for that reason I hope it was animals and not animals of the human variety...but in all honesty we'll never know really will we...
