Well Star is now sporting a contact lens in her left eye....... It's acting as a 'elastoplast' on her eyeball, and just about all of the swelling has gone down now. It's all eye shaped now, intead of looking like a Tunnocks Chocolate Marshmallow Teacake........ (Brown and very swollen.....
_) It isn't running anymore either. (It was running with tears, to the point where there was a wet patch on the floor along the bottom of the door from the tears runing off her face.)
She's on extra antibiotics in her feed, antibiotic drops and also anti-inflammatory powders which all seem to be working. Once the ulcer is healed, the vet wants to put steroid drops in, to try and shrink away some of the scar tissue on the surface and then Bob's your Uncle (I hope).....
