Thanks for everyones help and advice a couple of weeks ago when I said about my mare not wanting to be tied up or stabled. Since I last posted I have been tying her up in the stable to be groomed while she eats some hay. After she is ridden (vet says she can do light work as some of you pointed out i shouldn't be riding a lame horse) she is a lot calmer in the stable and will stand and eat her dinner. As soon as she has eaten though she still wants to go out but I don't think I will change that. Pleased though that I have found a solution where I can groom and tack her up without a problem
