after a month of fighting to save her, we had to put down this lovely Quarb filly, who was born Feb 16th 2007. she was born early that morning, outside in the cold. she suffered from serve frostbite. she froze her back foots so bad she had lost her hoof wall on the one n then started to lose they other but, this morning i went out to the farm where i was keeping her at my farriers. to find out she completely lost her one hoof n the she lost her hoof wall on the other one, so we decided to be fair to her and put her down.

Really sorry to hear your news. I was so hoping she'd make it. Poor baby. Its just so sad with a young animal. You did the best you could and had no choice in the end. Lots of hugs to you and your mare.
