Hello peeps,

Bloods came back ok, she has slightly low protein & white blood cell levels but not out of normal parameters.

She is also perkier today, scoffed all her food (bit slow with her hay but has all gone) so is going back out tonight with her chums.

So mystery of 'colickyness' not solved, but at least she is feeling better. Perhaps wee foaly has stopped jumping about & upsetting her :D

brilliant news ......... it does sound like foalie giving her a bit of a weird feeling. I kow when I was preggers sometimes babes got feet under ribs .... or laid on bladder of just very very active ....and oh by jees its uncomfortable. I guess horses can be the same ;)

good luck with it all

He he, well as she is taking being in foal so badly, even without the lammi don't think I would breed from her again! Not a natural mother bless her :D

Put her out a bit ago with some jammies on as is chilly round here tonight, she toddled off quite happy & think the vets drugs will have worn off by now so hopefully she is on the mend :)

Glad to hear that she is coming round :) Poor lass sounds as if she didn't fancy the idea to start with, so probably feels a bit cheated! :D

Ironic isn't it, the same time I decide rethink breeding from her, due to firstly not standing for stallion, then of course the lammi she came down with the day she conceived, the damn thing decides to brew herself a foal!

She quite likes my current foal, just hoping if the wee wonky donkey pops out that she likes it
