update strangles rant

not posted for a while still read other posts, its over 3 months now and still stuck in field for at least another 3wks ( y/o bought pony with no passport and with strangles from dealer and put straight in with other horses..why?) anyway y/o said she would pay for my horses blood tests as they put her at risk ( Iam only livery others are theirs) great I thought .. and now 3 months later y/o has turned around and said she has not paid bill and will only pay for first blood test as a gesture to help me out..wont hold my breath..so going to pay £250 for their mistake..sick ponies still escaping

Move.

Withold livery payments until the blood tests are covered, then move to another yard. I would not put up with a YO who put my horse at risk like that and costs me that much money

Yes, move as soon as you can. She won't learn and will only do exactly the same thing again.

I have been paying £30 awk for grass livery(cant use run-in shed as sick ponies in there) in their ad grass is £25 and they never said so they owe me £70 I handed money over to them and then they told me of vet bill..and what gets me is I took over the care of their big horse watered,fed.groomed and rugged to let them deal with the two sick ponies..so we will be out of pocket and will get my horse out as soon as get all clear...

Don't give them anymore money for livery until their debt is paid. I wouldn't give them anything from now on; for being so damned stupid and putting my horse at risk, they would be paying the bill. If possible leave on good terms but don't let them take the proverbial!
