Our pony went down to vets for two night stay. Yesterday, they did the ridden lameness workup and flipping pony was completely sound in canter even though she was hopping on Sat in canter. I asked vet to get her to jump on right rein as she has been going disunited for last few months. She has been given a steroid injection in Sacroiliac. I also suggested hind gut ulcers and blood test showed hind gut and stomach ulcers so she is now on Succeed digestive supplement! She has to do two weeks of ridden work in walk and then back into full work with raised trotting poles, bounces, grid work to strengthen her behind! I'm so relieved that hopefully this will sort her out and transform her into a happy, calm horse! I feel awful that potentially, she has been in pain for several years with ulcers :-(
