Well im back from my visit to see my mare in Cornwall. She is such a happy girl!! The farm is amazing, down a very long track with no near neighbours and so peaceful.
My girl was out in the field with her new best friend. When she saw me she ran round like a maniac with her tail over her back!! I caught her and she was nudging my arm and smelling my hair, bless!
She looks really well and has a huge stable so im very pleased. Apparently she has had two seasons already so she should be covered in about 2 weeks time. The stallion is also gorgeous and such a polite boy. I did take pictures but haven't had time to do anything with them yet so i will try to post them soon.

Have you loaned your mare out for breeding? I have just done the same, I am out of my mind with worry ( especially with this recent weather!!)
So good to hear she is being well looked after!!

She is being covered by the lady's own stallion who is a 6 year old KWPN (his breeding is stored on my home computer!) I wont be having the first two foals for definite because i have just bought a house but after that who knows!!!

Yeah i have loaned by girl out for breeding. Im really happy so far but just wish she was a bit closer cos she is a 5 hour drive away! What arrangement have you got with the person loaning your mare?
