Upper Canines-how long to come through?

So my 7yr olds upper canines have started to come through, but they’ve made little progress in the past few week, one is still just poking through & the other is only slightly more out.

How long does it take for them to come through & is there anything I can do to make him a bit more comfortable???

Hi I see this was a post from a while ago ho long did they take to come through in the end ?

They never have come through completely on one of my boys. The vet checked them severl times up until about about 3 years ago and said he could cut the gum to encourage them but advised against it. They have never caused any problem. This horse is now rising 11 and has always had the most lovely mouth.

If they are not causing a problem i would advise leaving well alone.
