Hi folks - Apologies if this has been covered so many times before. I've browsed through but not finding quite the answers i'm after.
My Cushingoid horse has been on Prascend for 2 years now. In August he was put onto 1.5 tablets after his ACTH read 78.
I've just had him retested which measured 38.
My question is; As I'm putting his dose up to 2 tablets a day which should control it to the winter 'allowance' - in summer, will this dose need to be increased again for the summer 'allowance' or should the ACT Hormone remain "controlled"? especially as half a tablet has brought him down quite a bit & with it lowering in winter?
