sorry if this is a bit long winded but I thought that if I gave you all the facts you could give me your honest opinion.......

I have a beautiful TBXWB Gelding that is now 7 years old, I have had him since he was 3 and back and broken him myself with some help from previous friends. Due to work commitments I didn't have the time to spend with him that I should have so I employed so called professionals to ride him in the past, you would have thought that I would have learnt from my mistakes after the first one messed him about but I then went through 3 other people and each time he ended up with a quirck after they rode him. It got to the point that when I wanted to sit on him he bronked for over 20 minutes and made me lose my nerve. Now all obvious things have been checked, back, teeth, saddle, bridle everything but the kitchen sink but this horse can go like a complete dream for a week then one day he will say no thanks don't want to do it and throw his toys out of the pram. Now i am too nervous to take this on as he knows that I wont get after him (he was beaten by a previous rider, until I found out then he was taken from herr yard!) so he is used to someone really cracking on at him when he plays up which ends up in him giving in but not the way I agree and would ever treat him or me giving in to him which means he gets away with it as I daren't tell him off, or the other scenario a confident patient rider (had 14 and 16 year old girls riding and jumping him) and he just gets on with things. As I only do dressage I think that it is that he gets bored and wants to be having fun. I have decided that the best thing for him is to sell him to someone who will vary his workload, have fun on him and compete him regularly and there wont be any of these issues. Although a heart breaking decision I have to think of him and need advise as to how I go about selling him. I don't want to put people off in an advert but then I don't want to sell him short as he truley is a talented animal when he wants to be. thanks for reading..................... any ideas? xx

Yes it should come up if you google it.

all I would say is be truthfull in the advert. My last horse was full of quirks but had masses of potential and now for his new owner is fulling all of that by competing BSJA, and has turned into a XC machine (i sold him because he was too small nto because he was a bugger) There are people who will have these horses but dont expect to get a huge amount of money for him. I found finding the right home was more important than any money
