would it really be worth him doing a runner? He has had the Cambridge sale for years plus he has his Lorry business.

Are you local to Cambridge? Could you not go and see him about a lorry and ask for the money?

Never liked the guy and wouldn't want to speak to him really.

Cambridge Horse Sales has one of the worst reputations for the nasties that goes on there, I wouldn't go there and certainly would not send a horse to be sold there.

Buyer/seller beware shame you didn't give the horse and chance and try and sell it to someone that cared rather than the meat man!

Lets hope he has dissapeared...that auction is the pits....

should have been shut down years ago,..only the Dregs are bought and sold there, only a small step above Southall and thankfully that shitehole is now also shut.

no great loss IMO.

Hi
I've never been to cambridge, but I did go to Southall years ago (unfortunately) I went with a friend who was looking for a donkey to buy. It was horrific, and I'll never forget it! Has anyone ever tried to close Cambridge down, or likely to do you know? Assuming that is, that this person ever comes out of hiding.
Thank you.

With respect!!!! I dont think that the poster has said that they have sold a horse there, the post was regarding horse or tack, so those getting overexcited please pipe down!

A pony well known to the OP WAS sold through there....no one is getting overexcited, so no one should "pipe-down".

god all i said with regards to meat ponys is
that you shouldnt go through peoples adverts and post them on here saying "walking dog meat "
whats the point other than to deeply upset the owners ?
if you dont like the horse fine but why go out of your way to hurt people ?
i also understand some horses are better of being sent for slaughter .
but i dont understand why you seem to take offence at everything i say.

At least JMO7 takes responsiblity for the ponies future, taking one to Potters is far better than sending it to a market to an uncertain future (Amersham comes to mind) I suggest you stop throwing such bullshite at JM and look at your own behaviour first.

I am not taking offence at everything you say. I am sorry your aunt never got her money & the horses that were posted as meat horses well TBH thats all they were fit for and the foolishness of owners thinking they would get over 3k for them

I often think of the two horses I sold one of whitch I am sure ended up as meat (was bought by a lady who turned out to be local dealers girlfriend) the other well who knows where she is now, I only pray that neither of them are being treated badly

JOY????

no joy seeing a pony crippled with Laminitis trying to cross its stable
no joy in seeing a pony with a cyst on its spinal cord trying to put its head down to drink...and finding if it does so, its unbearably painful.
so yes...

JOY THAT HE'S FREE FROM PAIN!!!
yes....

although i could have taken him to a low-level sale and 200 quid for him, i suppose............................

so crazyponys.........ball's in your court.......
