CAN ANYONE HELP EVEN IF IT IS ONLY FOSTER

URGENT HELP NEEDED!! a soldier serving this country has been posted abroad and has left today. Despite his repeated attempts to place his dog before leaving, he has had no alternative but to take his dog to the vets to be put down. The vet contacted a local friend to help but they are FULL. The vet has agreed to hold onto the dog until monday. This dog wil...l be euthanised on MONDAY 16.07.12 if a rescue space is not found. He is a Rottie x Boxer 2 years old male located in NORTHAMPTONSHIRE. I have been told he is very friendly and neutered. Thats so sad. Whats he like with cats and older dogs? I a sure you will get someone to home him but if there is no one PM me. Will ask about anyway

I dont know about the dog, I am just cross posting on every site I am on, perhaps others can also cross post. If you want I am sure the lady who has posted her phone number will answer your questions if you call.

I wish I could help but I have a bitch in whelp, bitches coming to use my stud dog and I am in KC ABS and all dogs on my property have to be registered in my name with them, so a little tied in red tape.

I hope someone can offer a home for him

ABS only required breeding dogs to be listed - neuters are exempt.

nope all dogs have to be registered, even my cross breed jacks have to be on the activity register. But look I am not getting into a debate about the ins and outs of the ABS This dog is important, we need to find help for him Please do distract away from the topic

Really - is that permanently on the AB's property , looks like I may have been flouting the rules.:rolleyes: Still its not as bad as the AB's who have far more litters than they are supposed to from their bitches and get round it by producing cross breeds.

Sorry, distracting from the topic I know, will try and spread the word about this dog.
 
I maybe able to help - do you know how the dog is to be left and if he is ok with cats ? Could provide a home with lots of play time with a retriever and a spaniel and lots of yard time :)
 
well I have to say, this story has taken a strange turn which has left me sad and angry.

I was told that the dog was in boxer rescue in Liverpool. Well I have just spoken to my cousin who works there and there is no dog resembling this dogs description, so I feel that this is a very evil and wicked hoax.

Thank you to every who offered to help him and I and truly sorry that this story sucked me in
