Urgent help required.... M40 Bicester/Banbury/oxfordshire

All the roads are blocked to get the horse to his final destination in Hampshire from Scotland. my friend is stuck in a service station at Cherwell in a broken down lorry with a horse on the back who has already been in there for 12 hours. Do you have a yard near Bicester/Banbury/m40 or a lorry in the area. Any advice gratefully received :-(

I hopr everything worked out ok for you guys! Please remember, as transporters, nearly all of us have a 24 hour service, it amazes me that in a panic people resort to forums, rather than just get the numbers they need from the internet? It takes a lot of planning to make sure there is always a driver available to drive a manual 6 leg horse box, equiped with snow chains and drivers with large amounts of expireience of driving in snow with all the relivant qualifications and enough hours left to be able to drop everything and help, but that is the business, last nigt for me ment sacrificing brothers 40th. Being on the books of every horse breakdown service and advertising your own it does make me wonder if it is worth doing when you read posts like this. Appologies for the rant!
