I need to book a courier to collect a saddle for tomorrow.

So it's a CC jump saddle. Lightest saddle I've used but would you think it weighs more than 10kg?

PS I don't have any scales!

Put it in a bin bag or something similar, hold in one hand with known weight (say bags of sugar/flour/butter) in another bin bag in the other hand?

Saddles weigh between 5-7kg, so if you are putting the saddle in a cardboard box, it shouldn't weight more than 10kg. If you have some bathroom scales, weigh yourself, then pick up the saddle in the box and weigh yourself again, getting someone else to read the weight for you, the difference will be the weight of the parcel.
