Can anyone help? I'm moving to Hemel Hempstead and do not know the area at all! Does anyone know of anywhere with spaces! I need to move my 16'1 kwpn as soon as possible and am looking for somewhere with a decent ménage or schooling area with good hacking on DIY.

The only one I know is at Gaddesdon in Hemel Hempstead where I used to keep my horse. Set within 1,800 acres, its a lovely yard with great off road hacking and they have use of the RDA's indoor riding school. I couldn't tell you if there are any vacancies though.

I'm sure there are other yards about the area too.

i keep mine in Bovingdon just down the road from Hemel, theres space on my yard (although we dont have a school) but theres loads of yards around here. try looking/asking at kimblewick feeds.

Off the top of my head theres beechwood (ley Hill) flaunden house (flaunden/bovingdon) Hatton house (bovingdon). And loads of yard i dont know the names of but hack past. duno which do diy but give google a go

Flaunden House has space at the moment, not sure if a DIY space though. It's definately worth asking in Kimblewicks, you are falling over yards around there, but they aren't always advertised as the good ones fill up by word of mouth.
Bury Farm also has lots going on, not sure if that's too far for you though?

Depending on what side of Hemel you are on you could go towards Flamstead. You could try, Phuddephats Livery or Trowley Bottom Farm. Both are DIY and have a flood lit school.
