URGENT plea - Grazing required Runcorn area, Cheshire

Hi,

This is an urgent plea to anyone in the Runcorn area or who knows anyone with a spare field that a friend can use for a mare in foal and companion pony. A couple of days ago the current field they are in was broken into and an there was an attempt to steal both the mare and pony - the gate was taken clean of it's hinges and tire tracks were seen in the field.

Local police think they know who it has - but understandably my friend doesn't feel comfortable leaving them there - as there isn't anyone close by to keep an eye on things.

Any suggestions welcomed!
 
Hiya, i'm in runcorn. Any luck yet? I'm know there's some paddocks come up for rent in Norton, but they're quite out of the way and the gypsies graze theres near there too. There's loads of yards in sandymoor and moore who might do grazing only? Ours dont though. Sutton Fields and Clifton do dont they? :)

Try looking on my ******* website. I know there are a few yards offering grazing only so may be some in the area you are looking? If not may be woprth contacting other yards in the area offering different services as they may have surplus grazing they are willing to rent out but just dont advertise it???

Hi, no luck yet. I don't live around there so I'm not sure what is available but I have let my friend know about Sutton Fields and Clifton and also sent her the website from Livery List - thank you both!

Don't think she'll want to be in Norton, given that the police think the gypsies were involved in the attempted theft!!!
