URGENT please help opinions needed

Daisy is very lame in trot this morning, no obvious heat swelling or wound. I'm currently waiting for the vet to ring me back. would the vet need to have the farrier out first to take the shoe off?

vets usually carry tools to take shoe off if needed.

No the shoes should be left on as will give your vet more idea as to the cause.....Good Luck with it, you will be fine.

Sounds like feet - is there any heat in the foot? no marks in the sole or other things?

all four are a bit warm but nothing out of the ordinary, I gave her foot a good wash but I can't see any marks on the sole or frog

If there is heat present in the feet this could be a laminitc symptom??? Interested to see what your vet says. Is she standing in a strange way at all???

depends..... but vets usualy do it themselves =] might just be stiffness!
