Urgently needed House to rent near Hereford

A friend of mine is in need of a house quite urgently, it must have a min of 3 beds and be able to take their 4 well behaved show dogs (Pointers). They are a lovely family so thought I’d try and help by posting this advert…………. if you know of anyone that may have a suitable property please get in touch, they really are a lovely, trustworthy and honest family. How close to Hereford/what areas? Have they contacted the Duchy estate? They have lots of property in Herefordshire and if I remember correctly do take animals.

Hi, thanks for the reply, they have contacted the Duchy and i think all their properties are taken ………. they have tried everything, bless them. They have 6 weeks to find somewhere and are now beginning to panic. the nearer to Hereford the better because of work

Would only be a temp measure, but it would be worth contacting people with holiday cottages as they will normally rent out for mid term prior to summer season - would give your friends more time to get sorted.

Assume they have tried usuals - Sunderland-thompsons, Brightwells, Cobb-Amos, Watkins & Thomas.

Also another one would be Berringtons - most property situated between Kingstone and Ponrtilas, so possibly further out than required.

It is an excellent website for all things horsy - and rural. We moved to near Hereford recently, and used it to find out who to get to do fencing for us etc - the lady who runs the site was very helpful with recommendations.
