 I know there are a lot worse things that she likes to roll in, but today it was caked on her like a dry, stinky, rock hard crust. And she sits next to me in the car, looking very smug and pleased with herself.

So bad that I couldn't even take her in the house, she got a cold sloosh, shampoo, cold sloosh in the garden. She got hysterical, bit me, went loopy, and that was the towel drying done. Then she tears around the house rubbing herself on everything, black hairs a - go - go, setting the lab off, he starts leaping up and off the back of the sofa (party trick), while poor hubs is trying to talk on the phone.

And I know what'll happen - back at the yard this avo, she'll have to replenish her perfume, won't she. Terriers, eh - who'd have em :p sm x

Its not poo its channel number 4677374483... Fox smells far worse and sheep just sticks like glue... You had a lucky escape

hmmmm I know....her grand event is actually human, but I won't go into that. In fact, thinking about it just makes me heave all over again. x

lol it can't be as bad as the time my drains got blocked and had to clear by hand and after drinking some of the yummy water one of mine gave the other half a lovely big snog... I couldn't tell him why I didn't want to kiss him that night so just preteneded to be in a hump!:D

she is gorgeous isn't she ! She was a rescue, found in some woods at 4 weeks old, by a river.I had to hand feed her and take her everywhere with me, so now she still has to come everywhere with me - unless it looks like rain, of course. Never did find out what happened to her mum and siblings, I dread to think. I just love her to bits, so she does get away with being a bolshy tasmanian devil at times ! sm x

Yeah but she is a terrier... Being devils reincarnate is what terriers do best and they still get loved to bits by their owners... I have 4 JRT. Sadly bred them while I was living at home so now have massive arguements over which bit of which dog belongs to whom so have to share them... Everyone loves them, they get away with blue murder, I was asked to take down the fencing I put up to stop them escaping by 4 people because they misssed them. Three wanted them to continue hunting rabbits and the other wanted them to chase off a cat that had been messing in their flower beds...

I am not so sure these were the most apropriate reasons for allowing my dogs to run free so the fence stayed!

Just look at those big eyes and she is so tired that she didn't even get the chance to share with you... Good quality purfume is hard to come by these days!

peeps who don't have a terrier just don't understand..... She is so independant, she decides if she'll go for a walk, if she needs her coat on, if she'll take over the lab's bed, you name it. Her breath stinks (she's 10 now), her coat usually does too, if she's got the whiff of a rabbit, she's off and totally deaf. She won't eat her nuggets out of a bowl (the clinking of her tag on the metal bowl) so she has to have them on the floor..she can jump as high as the worktop from standing like tigger, and the very best thing in the world for her is bedtime, which she tells me from about 8 pm onwards, by sitting staring into my eyes. I could go on and on.

Oh and the ferrets nip her ankles while she's trying to be all tazzy-like eating a huge bone. They just ignore her and she gets sooooooo mad, but I trust her with them totally, she adores em.

Once you have had a terrier you always have a terrier. Life without them is just dull. One of mine is deaf and she has a habit of shutting her eyes and wandering off when she doesn't want to "hear" you... She knows exactly what she is doing and she know exactly how to get away with it!

lol would rather terrier caked in horse poo than horse caked in terrier poo.....

I feel your pain. Mums dog likes to do the body rub in anything wet and sloppy and even on top of worms
