Im writing an article at the moment, and need some images to go with it. If anyone has any decent quality images of skin conditions that may be linked to nutrition, I'd be really grateful!

If I can work out how to get them from my phone onto laptop, I have a few. My last horse had them and I had to text pics to my vet, pics are still on the phone. His was caused by an allergy to alfalfa, took bl00dy ages to clear up :/

That would be fab - I'll PM you my mobile number if that would be easier?

I have a cellulitic leg - which was caused (in hindsight) by the onset of Cushings.

He was managed with diet for 2 years before finally being diagnosed and going on medication.

I don't know if that's any help to you?

Damn - if i'd thought to talk about cellulitis - that would have been perfect! But I didnt! I really need protein rash, allergic hive type lumps - that sort of thing.
Thanks very much for trying to help though!

Urticaria?

Yes. Horse waited all summer, until the day we had the photoshoot booked, and then came out in hives :D

You can see them in this pic...

Sorry, don't have any close up pics (the photographer kindly stuck to head and shoulders for close ups ;-))

Oberon - many thanks. Fingers crossed someone can help!
Brghtbay - again, many thanks. I need close-ups unfortunately, but much appreciated anyway.

My mare developed urticaria a few years ago,vet said it was caused by"something she ate". We couldn't treat with steriods because of previous lami,so she had lots of piriton instead. These are the clearest photos I have, she was shedding her coat so still a bit fluffy.

I've been informed that over on IHDG, a member called Lulu is having a skin issue caused by barely at the moment.

Might be worth posting on there?
