one of my horses has developed very marked urticaria swellings on his face and neck. he was vaccinated for flu on monday and the swelling first arrived last night.
he has had the tet and flu jab before and not had any reaction.
anyone else had a horse react to the flu booster like this and how long did it take to go??? he is meant to be competing next week but he looks like a lumpy necked beast atm!
he doesnt appear bothered by them at all.
no feed or management changes, although we did stay away from home last weekend....(stabled)
