Useless Derby House - Saddle View

Sigh,

After getting rid of my Isabell 17.5 casue it was too long in lenght for my boy - was thikning to treat myself to new Wintec Pro with Contour Blocs or new 500.
However would like to see on in the flesh before spending hard cash!!!!

So phoned Glasgow Derby House store - 1 hours drive away thinking if they have them I can view and make up mind.

However they only have a couple GP saddles and no store in Uk has the new Wintec dresasge ones to view! They suggested to buy it and check if I can return it - thus spending 2 lots of P&P!!!!! erm no

How ridicoulous is this senario, does anyone ahve expreience of the new Wintecs dressage saddles?
Or know anyone in local to Fife to view them?

You need to ride in it anyway, you cant possibly see if it fits without riding in it. And in my experience of wintecs they suit very few horses anyway. You might like them but it doesnt mean your horse will!

Can you take your horse to a saddlery to try several or get someone to come to you?

Second that. We are now seeing the result of buying off the internet rather than supporting local tack shops I am afraid (not you personally,'we' in general)
 
Yes agree need to ride in it - which was what I would have done but was just curious to see one in flesh. Quite difficult round here to get my boy to a place where they can try loads on.!

Thought if I can see what they all have first then can get my boy over or get some one out.

Just loking at what is in my price range - plus becasue he is still maturing wanted something adjustable, my GP wintec has been checked and not too bad a fit for him.
