Using a field near Dover on the way to Portugal.

Last week I drove my horse to Southern Portugal from North Wales, and an incredibly good forum member allowed me the use of her field for the night (close to Dover). She was soooo kind, and made the first night away so much less stressful than it might otherwise have been, even putting down a wonderful shavings bed for my boy.

Have to say that apart from her being sooo kind, she totally showed that there really are some good, kind and willing people out there prepared to help a stranger. Really hope that she sees this post and if she does - THANK YOU!!!!!

The weather was foul, it was pitch dark and she even took the bus home - which made me feel awful frankly but she insisted it was really no problem. Very nice lady whom I'd have never known about if not for this fab forum.
