Using out of date Magic calmer

I’m going to a dressage Tomorrow with my youngster and he’s being a bit anxious atm for some reason.
I suddenly realised I had an old tube of NAF magic Calmer paste but it’s out of date by 5yrs ?‍

I’m not one for using calmers really, hence why it’s so out of date, but think it might be worth a try.

What do you think about using it ?

Well, since I have the profoundest doubts about their efficacy I can't see it doing anything at all, I imagine it will have exactly the same effect whether it is in date or out.

Yes I agree- it’s probably why it’s still in my box after all these years! Don’t want to make him ill though?
