Ref my earlier post about my new horse not travelling at all well alone it has been suggested that I try a stable mirror in the lorry

Just wondered has anyone tried one of these

Thanks

Hi

My boy is not too keen on travelling so I put a mirror up for him (bought from ebay very reasonable), however as he is such an unsociable git spent most of the time giving himself dirty looks and then ignoring himself and giving himself the cold shoulder so not sure if it works with him, however my friends youngster loves it ( she is a bit of tart/diva ) and when my friend has travelled her in another box she wasn't as settled.

Yes I got one for my very bad travelling TB. he would kick the box so badly his feet were starting to crumble and the farrier could only just get shoes on, he warned me that if he continued to do it there would be no foot left to nail to!!
I tried him with a mirror from ebay (cost £30 inc p&p) and bingo he travels fine now, he still stomps when he needs a wee but a 100% improvement, the others are either bemused or just ignore it.
