I've got some sportabac turnout chaps which are no longer used, they were mainly for protection but he goes out by himself now and has *touch wood* never had mud fever for the last 7 years I've had him. Also YO does not have time to put boots on and off when doing turnout, so they are sitting there cleaned and useless. He always gets a bit stiffer in winter, he's getting on a bit (nearly 15) would it be ok for him to wear these at night in his stable?

I think you can use the Sportabac ones in the stable, but best thing would be to check on their website or phone them, just to check that they are breathable etc? We use the Thermatex leg wraps every night on our horses, and for the oldies who are a bit stiff they really do make a difference.

I wouldnt really want to leave my horse booted for over 12 hours especially as they are turn out boots and so are most probably tight fitting. I havent used Sportabac boots but i know you are not to leave equilibirum ones on over 12 hour period. Check with sportabac i have heard they are very helpful custoemr service
