Went over today.....

OMG...STUNNING COBS EVERYWHERE!!!

wanted to see if we could pick up a couple of nice youngsters....would have been able to if i'd taken around 10k with me!!

several animals had come straight from Appleby...in one word...STUNNING!!!...........my OH really liked a nice heavyweight Blagdon type...had it trotted up..bit of banter...the owner started at 9k!!!!!..he said he'd take no less than 7....we walked away...it was sold to a well known Dealer for 6.700..seriou money changing hands there today..

we'll be taking a little more cash next time...


usual suspects there...dealer-wise..

usual puppies/rabbits/ferrets/chickens/ducklings/goslings etc etc..
nothing looked overly stressed...

and as usual..a nice cup of tea!
 
sounds fab....do you think this would be the sort of fair that would suit someone just wanting a good day out and perhaps look at nice cobs? Are there other sorts there too? Or could you perhaps suggest any others that would suit better...i.e. not too stressful! Thanks... sorry for hijack!
 
*sighs* The days when you could get a coloured cob from a dodgy bloke on a layby for £50 and a pint down the local *looks wistful*

Appleby is still a wonderful week, isn't it SF?? ...

it's just a shame the "media" have to have a story..

although things seem to have passed by without incedent this year..
