Utah Van Erpekom wins the Global Masters

Cilla Humphreys coloured stallion won the Masters yesterday in San Paulo on the Global Champion Tour, picking up a cool 75000 euros! So a big up yours to all the people and so called profesionals who said he was not good enough... and a big thankyou to John Whitaker who has bought the horse back with such patience and care after he was nearly ruined.

Wonderful - I have my eye on him next year for one of my mares - seriously nice stallion. I just need to get my head round the logistics of frozen semen!

Went to see him when he was being ridden by Ben Maher, before being injured, and he was a really, really lovely stallion ... very docile and affectionate, and great markings. This is brilliant news for Cilla, who met me at the stables, and I thought was very nice. His stud fee was quite high even before this, so I bet it will go up again!
