my 3yr old came out in a rash in about may time, didnt seem particularly bothered by it, she wasnt itching, still ok in her self etc it was still there in july so i asked the vet to have a look when she came up to treat another horses for an abcess. she said just wash with melaseb or hibiscrub, which i did and it faded slightly but still came back. since july august she has also suffered with a runny nose and wheezing, i got the vet out in august she took bloods and listened to her chest she said it was a bit noisy but her bpm etc and blood tests were fine. she has been on airways plus for a month now and i wash her with melaseb once a week but there isnt really any change, she is just becoming more reluctant to work or do anything other than amble!! she lives out 24/7 only has 30mins excercize 3 times a week due to her age, she will be having the winter off but i want the problem sorted before it gets any worse any ideas ????
