I’m so impressed with this one!
Little old pony eats lots of mash and she is super messy, I leave her untied as he rope gets solid with dried in food, the yard gets covered, it’s pretty wasteful and she needs all she gets!
I had been emptying it into a rubber mat to avoid the bucket being dragged round. Better but not perfect.

Year ago Mr P came home with a yellow barrel and screw on lid he’d found in a field. He intended and tried to turn it into a hay steamer but the lid was too high and heavy fie me to get on and off.
So it’s stood unused for ages.
Recently looking at the lid I thought it would maybe make a good “mash plate” it’s big enough to catch all her dribbles and the lip round the edge and smooth indentations hold the feed on it and give her a slower licking up time.
So gave it a good scrub, it’s filled with water so weighs a ton, so it won’t move from its position.
It’s brilliant! Worked perfectly 57DBFE70-23F7-4968-A1EF-2CF60C24317D.jpeg57250DA0-A363-4336-BA02-8126116C6658.jpeg
