Utterly pointless happy post!

The rain has finally stopped long enough for the ground to dry up so tonight I ignored "serious" schooling, "serious" fittening hacking and just behaved like a child! Once the temp eased off this evening friend and I took Darcey and friends mare up to the field and just had silly races. Galloped just because we could! The horses jogged and messed about, we did micro jumps with little or no style, laughed until I thought I would wet myself and meandered back to the yard on the buckle in gorgeous golden light. It reminds me what horses are really for. We choose to have them because we love them and it's fun!

i love it-recently once the ground was soft enough i cantered my pony up a hill as many times as SHE wanted to just cause we could and she loved it!

I taking Monty down the beach next week just to have fun. Going to gallop along the sand and play in the sea and chill out a bit. Horses meant to be enjoyed.

i couldn't be bothered after spending the day sweating at work so i just chucked mine in the arena and left him to it

Ah see I was lucky today was my day off so got to spend all day hanging out with the two of them! Got to work the weekend though boo!

I love game playing summer afternoons / evenings my old lad has been like a thing possessed all week so we've just been having mad fast fun all week (the ground is good and he is generally very well mannered, just has excess energy right now!) - it's been AWESOME

Similar thing here... tho 'twas too hot to do anything 'proper' today so myself and YM took our two ginger ninjas on a stroll... didn't pick up a contact and didn't break out of walk for the whole hack (over an hour) and dya know what? It was lovely!
