Uvex hats - sizing?

I'm tentatively thinking about getting a Uvex hat. I've had a charles owen ary8 for several years and frankly, it's had too many falls/drops at this point. I'm leaning more towards the Exxential II MIPS, but having never had an adjustable hat, I'm unclear on what size to go for. Unfortunately none of my local stores stock Uvex so no opportunity to go for a fitting.

My CO hat is size 55 - which falls right in between XXS-S and S-M for Uvex. Any advice from anyone as to how these fit and which one I should go for?

I'm a 57 in CO, and got a s/m uvexx, there's a lot of adjustment both ways for me in that and I think in theory I could have gone a size up so I'd say the smaller one personally

I’m a 59 in a Charles Owen skull cap and the m-l Uvexx was a brilliant fit for me using the dial to make it fit my head. I found it so comfortable.
