Catchy title, I know!
A friend's horse has symptoms which seem to be consistent with an infection of actinobacillus equuli bacteria. They are apparently naturally found in a horse's mouth amongst other places, but like most bacteria can cause nasty infections elsewhere.
Does anyone have any experience of a diagnosis of such an infection? Any experiences would be greatly appreciated, everyone has their fingers tightly crossed for this really lovely mare who just doesn't deserve to be as ill as she is...
Very many thanks in advance.
