Vaccination dates
I have just been flicking through my horses passport and have noticed his vaccination ages seem a bit odd (I have only had him a few months) so if anyone can help me make sense of them it would be dry much appreciated!

On 28.7.10 he had flu and tetanus
On 14.9.10 he had flu and tetanus
On 13.4.11 he had just flu

I am fairly sure he now needs to start again, but I keep getting mixed p with normal and FEI rules! We are not out competing or anything like that. Also unsure as to why he had two flu and tetanus in about 6 weeks or am I being a bit thick? Label from first two injections say proteqflu+te and the third says Proteqflu. Was told when I bought him he was up to date and misread the date of the final one, lesson learned!

He is up to date.

3rd vaccination must given been 150-215 days after the 2nd one. His was done day 211 so he is fine and you just need a booster before 13th April this year.

Is normal if a primary course to give 2 with tet and then one without.

It looks like he had the first two jabs of Flu and Tet to start off the course and then the 6 month booster. Tet I think is just the two jabs to start off with. You will need to have the Flu jab done April 2012

This, he is fine, but make sure you have him done before 13th April (and not on it) or you will have to start all over again.
