vaccines/ competing ??

is it every 6 months horses have to be vaccinated if you are competing ?

No? Its just their usual annual booster as far as I know. That's what mine get and have never had any probs when showing record for competing away. Obviously the record must show the beginning of the vaccine course though (ie. the intital 2 or 3 vaccs (cant remem) before the annual ones. I believe its only flu you have to have done for competing but most people have the combined tet as well (or should do!).

If you comete with the FEI you need to have had a vacine in the last 6 months.

For most comps. its an anual booster but for FEI its every 6months (though breathing room if competing)! Also learnt the hard way that u can't compete BE up to 5days after jab!!!!
