Decided middle of the week that I would take two of my girls to do the dressage only part of combined on Sunday. Well have to say I'm really pleased with both..... First up was Spur, she did a nice enough test, although decided that instead of stretching, she would tilt her head and stick her tongue out, was funny really, but she did everything I ask of her, was a little unbalance in her first canter, but otherwise ok, she still needs to take up a contact more and not hurry her transitions, but she did nothing naughty. Next Zara

, didn't warm her up much as she gets really tense, so in we went and she did for her a not too bad a test, canter is always the exciting bit and she gets very strong, then to ask her to walk after, well que

, she jogged and wouldn't stretch at all, but the rest of the test was an improvement on the last time she went out, was please and again she did everything that was asked and we got a really nice comment from the judge..... All in all both girls were good and it's the first time they have travelled together and was just please to see them both munching there haynets when we arrived. Bonus of the day was we came home with a couple of rosettes, Spur 3rd and Zara 4th, 3 marks between them........I'm really pleased, as dressage is not my thing and it most certainly isn't Zara's, as for Spur well she just like to be doing something........

Thank you. She certainly is, just needs to be more round and not so long, but I'm pleased with her. As for Zara, well she is a monster, but you just have to laugh.
