Ok you all knew it was going to happen we have undergone a conversion!

So may I present Vardi (suppose I ought to start calling him by his proper name of Nevada now!) not only wearing his western saddle but with my Trainers Daughter on Board putting him through his paces.

I am still having lessons so once I stop looking like a prize berk I will post some of me on board!

Bless him he is doing so well. I on the other hand am struggling a bit and keep having to remember I do not need to over ride.

Apologies for the Blue hue of the later pics I hit the wrong button!

He certainly looks the part, at first switching from one style to the other is confusing.

I used to over ride one of my mares, she was very patient with me whilst I learned to speak her language, but a couple of times I almost sailed right on over her head because I actually touched her mouth and she came to a sudden sliding halt.

I am waiting for the comments about his reins in the first couple of pictures though;)

Enjoy:D

Kharber 21 - He was bred by the Axioma Appaloosa Stud in the Netherlands his dam is Aritha and his Sire is Equador when I bought him he looked like this....

Enfys - yep I am overriding like mad poor instructor keeps saying "just bloody sit there" I too have had the full on lope to stop in 0.6 seconds with assocaited flying sand!

I take it you meant the tie down....mmm I was waiting for those as well....still looks like he is really suffering doesn't he :-))

Eatonbryant - I know it really suits him I still have his dressage saddle and it looks sooo small on him

What a lovely horse! Gosh his coat has dramatically changed! Is that his summer coat colour and will he go dark again in winter do you think? My friends blue roan looks black with her winter coat, and her summer coat she goes grey with black legs and face! xx :)

Rudey no he just gets whiter and whiter every year last year he was a speckled Pink colour.

I think eventually we will end up white with just his darker brown spots and Varnish Roan Legs. It is like having a new horse every year but you never know which colour blankets to buy!
