my friends horse is very very ill he has been diagnosed with
vasculitis disease we have been told it is touch and go at the moment. he had strangles about 6 weeks ago and the vet thinks it has stemed from there. Vasculitis can be due to infectious or immune-mediated causes. Vasculitis can result in thrombocytopenia due to local platelet aggregate formation or can initiate DIC. Has anyone heared of this. he is just not looking good at all and he has a hugh odema in his abdomon area
