I wondered if I should be charged vat on fencing on what is deemed agricultural land but is used for grazing my horses? Or would I only be exempt if I sold my horses into the food chain?

Are there any things I don't have to pay vat on for the field? Someone told me that grass seed would be vat exempt. Is that the case?

Fencing, either the materials or the erection would not be zero vat. Grass seeds are zero rated but fertilizer isn't.
